Education For Every Child

A child has an eagerness to learn and explore the environment in which it lives in. Much of the developing world cannot provide a basic standard of care towards the young generation let alone an education.

All children should should have the opportunity to learn provided to them as a fundamental right.

Today, more than 300 million school-age children worldwide are not going to school and millions more are receiving a poor standard of education...Gender discrimination must be eliminated, and schools must become places where all children feel safe.

Schools cannot be so far away that it is difficult to attend. Education is not only a child’s right, it is one of the major responsibilities of all humanity. Education is the principle not the exception to the advance of civilisation.

Up to one third of a persons life is usually spent in education. There are many children who spend this period of their lives without any basic equipment. Books, chairs and desks are a luxury.

Many have to learn sitting on a dirty floor. In some areas of Africa, there are as many as 21 children using a single textbook in a school.

Donation of second hand books which are thrown away in the western world cost money to transport to the Third world. You can help to facilitate the learning by children in these deprived areas by providing such essentials for their education.

Stocked portable libraries will make learning easier.
